Rob DeFeo on Park Service Trees

Robert DeFeo, chief horticulturist for the National Parks Service gave an entertaining program on how to kill trees at the regular club meeting on March 12. His talk was based on decades of experience with Constitution Gardens, the Korean War Memorial, Sherman Park and other Park Service venues in the National Capital Area.

E.J. Truax presided and held up a special azalea brought by Peggy Pecores as part of her talk on her volunteer work at the greenhouses of the National Gallery of Art:















Sallie Strang gave the report of the nominating committee for the elections in April.
